A morning-to-evening itinerary from your front door
Esplanaden 14
Start with a coffee and their famous salt-and-pepper bun with butter and cheese — nicknamed the ‘BMO’. A 5-minute walk from the apartment. The perfect low-key start.
Gl. Hovedvagt, Kastellet 1
Head north from Buka into Kastellet, a star-shaped 17th-century fortress. Continue past the Little Mermaid along Langelinie and loop back south along the harbour toward the Royal Danish Playhouse. About 45–60 minutes at a relaxed pace.
Amaliegade 11
Traditional Danish smørrebrød, 8 minutes’ walk away. No reservation needed for lunch. Or try Bottega Barlito on Esplanaden for excellent Italian.
Store Kongensgade 90A
Unpack and get comfortable. Fire up the Nespresso machine. Take a moment to rest after your journey.
Various departure points
Rent a GoBoat or book a HeyCaptain tour. The route passes Christiania, Islands Brygge, the Opera House, and the Black Diamond library. One of the best ways to understand the city.
Borgergade 134
Fresh pasta pickup, 2-minute walk away. Eat in the apartment or on the rooftop terrace if the weather is kind. An early night after a long travel day is the smartest move.
